  • FirstEnergy Powerhouse

    The FirstEnergy Powerhouse is a former power station transformed into a state-of-the-art aquarium, banquet facility and outdoor concert venue, surrounded by restaurants, a comedy club, office space and apartments. The FirstEnergy Powerhouse sits along the Cuyahoga River, next to Jacobs Pavilion concert venue, and offers spectacular views of the Cleveland skyline.

    This four-level brick structure, known for its smokestacks and arched windows, was constructed in the late 19th century to provide energy to power Cleveland’s electric railway and streetcar system. The structure, a National Historic Landmark, was totally renovated in the mid-1980s and is noted for its stylish arched windows and distressed brick walls.

  • Great Lakes Watersports

    Great Lakes Watersports is located along the boardwalk at the Nautica Entertainment Complex, on the mouth of the Cuyahoga River. Rents jet skis, boats and kayaks to go paddling, cruising, waterskiing or tubing on Lake Erie.

  • Greater Cleveland Aquarium

    The Greater Cleveland Aquarium features over 70,000 square feet of aquarium and aquarium-related uses, including 10 aquarium exhibition areas with 42 tanks, all integrated into the historic FirstEnergy Powerhouse. The aquarium features Marinescape’s Seatube®, a world-class attraction that allows visitors to experience life under the sea in a clear, 145’ walk-through tunnel.

  • Improv Comedy Club

    The Improv Comedy Club & Restaurant is the premiere stage for live comedy in Cleveland. For more than two decades, the talent who has performed on the Cleveland stage represents the Who’s Who of American Standup Comedy. Comedians including Jerry Seinfeld, Tim Allen, Ellen DeGeneres, Jamie Foxx, Jeff Dunham, and, of course, Cleveland’s own Tammy Pescatelli and Drew Carey have taken the state at Improv.
